I don’t know that you could really classify the Maserati GS Zagato as a road dog, given the fact that it looks like it purrs. It looks like it purrs in the predatory, slightly menacing way of a low slung jungle cat, ready to pounce and draw blood. And I don’t know about you, but that is most definitely how I like my cars.
I love everything about this car. Well, naturally, in the first place, it is a Maserati, after all, and who can really resist a Maserati?
Paolo Boffi, an entrepreneur of some note, commissioned the Maserati GS Zagato, and all I can say is, what a lucky, lucky guy.
It got its debut at the Villa d’Este in Italy, during the Concours d’Elegance some time ago.
